DELAYING THE INEVITABLE AS LONG AS I POSSIBLY CAN, WITH NOTHING BUT MY LAZY AMBITION.

My greatest fears are autoclaves and delusions of grandeur. I am a pessimistic romantic who believes, more than anything, in humans: all that we create, discover, and impact in this strange place around us. Nothing calls me to action and inspires me more than the power of languages and all that we can do with them: what we can say with them, how we can say something without really saying it, how we can touch another to their very depths with them, how we can influence, encourage, and even change the perspectives of another delicate soul, along their own lonely journey, with them. 
Otherness. Alterity. The Margin. Whatever you call it, my literary interests and pursuits encompass the realm of the "other": how they are portrayed, how they interact (or fail to interact) with narrative space, how they define and alter rhetoric, and, most importantly, how their stories unfold. When it comes down to it, I love a good story, and I strive to tell compelling stories no matter the purpose or medium. The issue sometimes is getting it down on paper before it has left me for the ether.
